Biography

The old band

In 2010 joined Rei, Schwarz, Sakura and Shota. Thus was formed the Visual Kei band known as aim. In January of the next year they released their debut single, entitled LOST VOICE. Oddly, they don't released no other single in the following months. Did not tarried very much and was announced vocalist Rei departure.

GALEYD's begin

Months later, Garo joined to the band, becoming the new vocalist. But the band did not continue with the same style or name. It was formed a new band: GALEYD. By forming a new band, the other members changed their artistic names. Schwarz, the guitarist, came to be known as Meku, while Sakura, bassist, became Toki. Shota, drummer, changed him name to Nikky.

2012

In January 2012, GALEYD released a digital single, entitled Crimson Chain, with just one track. This was done two more times before the mini-album Infitium. Mini-album was released in February 22, with six tracks. Who composed the present musics on Infitium was Garo and Meku

In the following month to the Infitium's release, were announced three maxi-singles: Genesis, Loaded and Destiny, being releaseds on the three following months. Together with single Destiny was released the precious heart PV (promotional video).

After participating in various events along to other bands, GALEYD had their first One-man, entitled "Infitial Forward" on August 3rd at SHIBUYA-REX. During the event it was sold the single precious heart -FOOL'S MATE EDITION-. This single brought a precious heart new version and a song from aim era: Hysteric Liar, now in Garo's voice. On the single there's also a new song called Crazy Angel.


In the early September, the band announced a new single with two tracks and a DVD containing film footage from "Infitial Forward", and it was supposed to be released at November 21st. At the end of the month, the band announced that would be released a mini-album instead, called EYE WILL... on December 4th. Mini-album brought six new compositions and also a DVD with some live songs from first One-man.


Second One-man was held December 2nd at SHIBUYA-BOXX, entitled "Mebiustrip".

2013


March 5th brought GALEYD's new maxi-single, Revolution. Single's Limited Edition contains a DVD that includes Revolution DVD and two live songs from "Mebiustrip". 

At the same month Revolution was released, it was held band's third One-man, "Fly for the Revolution". One-man was at 16th day that month, at SHIBUYA WWW. During the One-man it were sold two DVDs with film footage from "Mebiustrip", one of them containing the first part of the live, other containing the encore. 


After 3rd One-man it were revealed two great news. The first is a new single to be released July 3rd, called FLEE FROM REALITY. Also it was revealed 4th One-man's name, date and location: "REALIVE", SHIBUYA WWW, July 15th.

On May 4th and 5th GALEYD will hold two Two-man lives with the band EAT YOU ALIVE. On the first day they will play at Osaka Clapper, and on the following day at Nagoya ell.SIZE.
